My work seems to be getting more and more boring! i am left with 20% of what i used to have! this means i am more and more free.. ever since my "peer" entered the department, my tasks are getting lesser and lesser.. kinda dislike this peer coz polymate hx knows her, and hx told me some stuffs abt this peer, which i dont think hx has got any reason to smear her reputation..
And this peer, whatever admin stuffs which i teach her, she wasnt interested to learn at all! it's super obvious that she is not interested to learn.. how to know: if a person is interested to learn, she will take a pen and paper to write down, even if she got fantastic memory, she will just write for the sake of writing.. and this peer, she didnt even bother to sit up straight, so not to say to write down. see, this kinda "sincerity" in learning.. And after teaching her one of the admin procedures, she asked that can she not learn? and i was like, okay, fine!
Seriously, whats the point of teaching when the person is not interested to learn? I dun understand what my boss sees in her that made her hire this person! This person is damn insincere in doing things! When it comes to her stuffs, like she got a receipt to claim, she asked me for help. WTH! When i first taught her, she wasnt sincere in listening, and now, crying for help! Ok, fine, just teach her again. While going through what to fill in, i opened a form, and go thru step by step with her, and asked her to do it by herself. I dont see anything wrong, and this lazy person, asked me to send her the form which i just went through with her, coz "it's half-filled up already".
Other than my working life revolving around this person, my boss is another one. Whenever she dun know something, she will approach my ex-peer, and my ex-peer when say quote my name and say that I know where she put the file. And my boss will ask me, and I seriously dont know anything about that! WTF! my dear ex-peer, can you dont quote my name when i am damn serious that I am not in the loop and dont know a single thing?
Just felt that i am redundant at work. coz people will forget my existence! And my tasks are getting lesser and lesser. Felt that i am wasting my time here coz i got not much thing to do. Many must be thinking i am crazy to leave a job which do not much things and can get paid so easily coz they yearn to have a job with not much tasks and not too low pay. But its damn hard, coz you have nth to do, u have to act busy. In ur scope of work, it seems like u have a lot to do, but actually u got nth to do and you have to act busy, stared at ur email for hours, just to get time over, its just so hard to fake.
Didnt wanna carry on wasting my time, and so i looked for another job! And the search didnt go to waste, coz i was called up for interview, then pre-employment check, and now waiting for the check report before appointment.
Saw one of my aunts and she asked why i went for this job, coz this is no good, off town and like no future. And i am now thinking if i made the right choice to continue, and ya, like what my aunt say, off town, not really convenient, and it's quite a distance away from school.
Can someone please tell me what to do?
