day 1:
arrived in taiwan ard 5pm, and started our itinerary..
went to taipei 101, and it cost to take the 39sec lift from the 5th to 89th level.. and due to the wet weather, the section was closed coz nothing much can be seen... went to 士林夜市 in the evening and had our dinner! and got a pair of boots there.. =) den headed back to the hotel at ard 10pm.. and we got some instant noodles back to hotel for supper.. and their instant noodles are so nice that they did added in some real pork/beef into the instant noodles and u can taste the real meat in the instant noodles, unlike wad we have in sg, just the meat flavours..
day 2:
went to the famous 忠正纪念堂 and was in time to watch them change shift.. the way that they are performing the changing shift thingy was simply awesome! rotating their rifles in a super fast speed, marching while rotating, and it's just that nice... while videoclipping the 'performance', my camera's memory card had a huge prob.. the mem card cannot be read suddenly.. and haiz..
went to 西门町 after lunch.. and i saw 小猪 罗志祥! and that's for real! he was there for some signature event for his juniors, 魔幻1+1..
went to 五分埔 and we shopped for a while before uncle's taiwanese fren brought us to 龙山寺 for dinner, and shopped around.. my sis, my cousins and me went back to 西门町 to shop again for somemore stuffs before the 4 of us made our way back to the hotel.. the people there in tw are super helpful that they could literally give us directions when we ask for it..
day 3:
went to 野柳 to see the famous queen head (女皇头) before the neck breaks.. thought that the famous queen head was a huge statue, but it turned out just to be a big size rock that has a shape of a head and neck.. but the rocks over there at 野柳 is simply awesome coz the rocks are shaped by the sea breeze and wind!
toured ard 九份 and our tour guide brought us to the taipei train station to take the high speed train from taipei to 台中.. and our tour coach is said to be slower than the train and therefore we have to take the train to save time.. but unexpectedly, our tour coach is equally as fast as the train which we thought that the driver was speeding all his way to catch up wif us...
went to 逢甲夜市 and the stuffs there was cheap that i got a pair of sunglass and sis got herself a new bag...
day 4:
中台山博物馆 - lots of buddha statues.. and then went to 九族文化村 as the way up to 阿里山 was damaged due to the flood in august.. watch the 9 village people performing, and it's nice and one of the village dance was kinda weird and funny..
we were brought to a plant farm for the night of farm stay.. it's a total new experience from the past 3 nights.. the nice was super nice! coz it consist of a lot of variety of vegetables and it all taste super fresh and sweet.. and after dinner we had a 'art and craft' class which we could do a floral key chain.. our nice tour guide bought fireworks for us to light up and experience the feeling of sending the sparkles to the sky.. and he even booked a room for us for karaoke session after the fireworks.. wad a nice tour guide..
day 5:
went 日月潭 then 文武庙 for sightseeing and then the tour guide brought us to a tea farm and let us experience the earning of a tea man.. den to our hot spring hotel.. wow! the hotel has lots of hot spring! an open area for public which has lots of different variety of hot spring, and 2 in our hotel room! just that good.. and we tried all the different hot spring in the public open area and back to our room for the plain warm water and 泥浆池.. wow.. super nice.. we can also adjust the temperature to our own liking.. awesome!
day 6:
went to a salt moutain den to 垦丁.. the resort style room is super big.. and the room has 2 toilets and a bathing area den 2 queen size bed and lots of walking area... super big right?
went for dinner at a restaurant which is similar to seoul garden, but teppanyaki-ing will not have smell.. the facility is good! and went shopping after dinner.. and we saw a stall that sells sunglasses at a super low price, and i got another pair of shades, den slippers..
day 7:
went sightseeing den to 佛光山.. there are super lots of buddha statues in the temple.. den to 六合夜市,den the 4 of us just went on walking from 六合夜市 to 五福路, and we shopped the whole night from 8pm to 12.30am, and while heading back to the hotel, we were lost.. we lost our way.. and we asked the passerbys and they were so helpful that they even volunteer to walk back with us.. super nice right? and we made our way back and reached back to our hotel ard 1.15am... after walking 5 hours.. we went out again to 'import' our super nice instant noodles at... 1.30am! arghhh! carrefour wasnt open for 24 hours.. kenna bluff by our tour guide.. but my cousin was so determined to get the instant noodles and so went on walking, and asked the 7-11 staff for carrefour.. weird right? but the 7-11 staff was so kind to tell us the directions, and even provided us wif another 24 hours provision shop directions.. and we went on and got ourselves 6 bowls of instant noodles each.. famous saying "no pain, no gain", i guess this is wad it meant to get the instant noodles.. and reached back to the hotel room at 2plus am, and slept at 3plus am..
day 8:
went to airport at 10am, and making our way back to sg...
conclusion:
1) taiwan has lots of tv channels that we cant finish switching channels every nights.. and watch 娱1乐百分百 every night and as a result can only sleep after 2am...
2) never take china airline again! super bad impression about the air stewardesses coz of their bad attitude
3) taiwan people are super friendly and nice... =)
