was last min informed by cousin ky of his army's ocs social night, and they have to bring a date for the social night else will need to do 7 days of extra duties.. cousin ky said his friend had no date, and ask me to go.. so went on friday..
was quite excited since he told me on thursday.. and on the very day, friday, was super busy at work.. rushing for a lot of things coz colleague aileen is on leave, jodie is rushing for the month end closing, and some of their things i have to do.. and lots of POs to be done as unusually.. arghhh! intending to go for the social night after work, planned everything well, and out of a sudden, so many things to do.. after doing a lot of PO, got it signed by the VP, den sit down, and saw another PO to be processed, den do, den got it signed, den sit down again, and saw again.. it's like out of a sudden so many POs to do.. unlike other days, which did nt have many..
did what i can at work, and start doing my make-up after clearing all the things, and waited for my date to pick me up at my workplace.. after waiting for sometime, he reached at ard 6.30pm, and we are off to the hotel.. coincidentally it's the hotel which my sis wedding was held.. Grand mercure roxy hotel.. and after reaching there, saw cousin ky and his gf.. den went to the hall which the dinner was held, saw sec school classmate terence! wow! it's been like 3-4 years since i last met him.. and coincidentally, he knew my partner.. and for the whole dinner, didnt really talk much, coz me and my partner didnt have much topic.. but he is nice guy.. just felt quite honoured for the night.. though my partner wanted to send me home, but didnt wanted me coz he lives in tampines, and i live in bishan, the hotel is at east coast.. so asked my dad to come and pick me up..
all i can say to my date is Thanks for the invitation! and it's just like an eye opener! hmmmm.. didnt have a chance to go to any of this kinda army dinner if werent his invitation..
