woke up at 7 tis morning... the guys haven wake up yet... washed up and packed up the mess.. put everything in luggage for safety precautions... we drank milo as breakfast and took a cab to work.. the cost is RMB9.00 which is equivalent to S$1.80.. wow! cheap sia...
when we reach the company the nice security guards open the gate for us.. den went into the building, a girl call Wendy took us to Mr Huang the person whom open the apartment door for us.. his boss is Ann.. Ann direct us to a Malaysia man call Paul.. he showed us around the company.. the company is big... 2 buildings for manufacturing... we learnt about the different type of tools tat are used to QC things like cars.. oh ya.. this is my first time wearing "safety boots".. their safety boots looks different from singapore ones... theirs is not exactly a shoe.. but can cover the surrounding of the shoe.. rubber type... after Paul showed us around, we went back to the office... Ann took me to Jessie, the IT department manager..
we had our lunch at 12.. the lunchtime is from 12 to 1... they haf their own temporary canteen.. their servng is real large... most of the people could not finish.. is like 1 1/2 bowls of rice... wif a lot of vegetables and dishes.. onli zihao could finish his serving.. he is so hungry tat he could still eat an apple... we were told tat the company will shut off their power at about 1, coz they wanna connect the dunno wad to the newly build building beside... we went back to office after our lunch... is onli about 12.35 like tat.... Jessie told me look for her at 1pm... okay at 1, she told me tat i will be doing database using MS Access... linking client and server together.. so i juz do the data entry to the database... hmm... tink shld be alright ba... she say tml the manager from US will haf a video call wif her and she ask me to be there too.. coz teh manager wanna talk to me about the database thingy too.. the meeting is at 8.30... haizz.... gotta start working so early.. but at least i haf my desk from tml onwards... the guys are doing different thing... long zhou will be doing something tat can use computer, but zihao no computer de.. but anyway, next week when joshua come, he will be doing some internet stuff...
since there is no power, Ann told us to go wif the driver to view the city.. haizzz... i view until halfway den sleep le.. coz really very tired... we went back to the office again after touring the city.. den Mr Huang bring us go buy SIM card.. coz we wanna call back, but the cost is real ex... my new number is ******29737.... the SIM card number cost me RMB10.00, the card value is RMB100.00.. total i paid RMB110.00... call 1 minute is RMB1.99(roundoff is 2 bucks..)...
we went back to the apartment after the card thing... we tried calling.. but it says “the number tat u called is empty please check and dial again"... huh? long zhou oso tried... his oso cannot.. but the shop person say dial 12593 den country code den number den can le.. but we tried mant times, still cannot den he called the operator to check.. operator say is 12593 00 65 number.. den finally can call le...
hmmm... later going shopping at 大润发 again... coz still wanna buy things.. gotta settle our dinner outside... haizzz...
today we cleared some of our doubts.. like:
-time for work is 8.00-5.00 or 8.30-5.30
-attire: they are not really concern about the dress code
-throwing of rubbish: as there are no main rubbish bins in the apartment, gotta aout t throw at the big bin...
-meals: lunch at office, dinner and breakfast at home
-allowance: RMB 1200..
-mineral water: office will ask ppl to send upon request..
-radiator: work by gas
-bus service to work: 16
-work scope
-day off: saturday and sunday
-utilities and gas bills: we no need pay
-apartment phone: onli can call local (china) numbers
-bank account: tml bring passport den open a china bank account
-SIM card: bought
-Internet
-Household cleaniness: office will send a cleaner to clean on sunday afternoon..
the cost for:
-every bus ride: RMB1.00 (no matter wad distance)
-every cab ride: first 5km: RMB8.00, subsequent 3km is RMB1.00
-cab from 大润发 to apartment(kaiyue garden): RMB8.00
-cab from kaiyue to snap-on: RMB 9.00

bus service is “路” like bus service 16 is call 16路...
tat's all i learnt today..
